Paulie is right about a lot of things......a fact he needs to recognize though....is he's not some sort of elite fighter, one thing he does do time and time again is lose anytime he's in a big fight.

No one said different. Your point is like quite frankly irrelevant to the topic, bro.

Not really. The topic is basically Paulie's talk. Part of Paulie's pre-fight talk about fighting Broner has been that Broner's fought bums and never faced someone elite, basically Paulie thinks he's elite. Paulie isn't elite and loses every single time he's fought someone elite.

Paulie is cool, always tells it like it is and says what he believes, which is good. But he comes off at times like he's some sort of elite great fighter, and he's not.

If Paulie always keeps it real 100% of the time....he should go on a rant about how he's never won a fight against an elite fighter. Instead of trying to make himself sound like he himself is elite.

No actually, the topic is about Paulie speaking about hbo. Not whatever he discusses in general. Believe me, I should know.

Yes, than this thread eventually turned into Paulie always speaks the truth, always tells it like it is, etc. So than I have to ask, why doesn't Paulie keep it real about his career???

He has on quite a few occasions. I've never heard Paulie say he was elite, or great, have you??

He's basically been saying Broner's never fought anyone very good or elite, or whatever your word choice is.....it doesn't take a rocket scientist to read into what Paulie's saying when he says Broner's never fought anyone very good or whatever.

Paulie thinks he's better than he really is. There's nothing wrong with that, I like his attitude and confidence. But if he's going to be known to keep it real, I want to hear about how he's never beaten a good or top tier in that weight class fighter.

I don't think Paulie is delusional about his career. He says he's "a" champ (never heard him say "the" champ, he gives himself props for going into Texas and beating Diaz for the belt ( he told us all he'd win and get robbed even called out Gale Van Hoye BEFORE the fight), and also for going to Europe and beating a champ there when so many Americans refuse to travel for their title shots. He also gives himself props for his performance in a loss to a prime Cotto. I've been a fan of his since that fight, he got his nose, jaw, and eye socket busted in that fight and never quit. And now he called out HBO. The only thing I didn't like is that he should've also gone in on Al Haymon because HBO was giving Broner the Berto treatment (I agree) but it was partly at the behest of Al Haymon.
