ive seen it so many times and its a perfect stoppage, castillo was done,
his eyes had rolled back, his arms had dropped and his body went limp,
does the guy have to die before peeps think it should be stopped ? sorry
to mention it again but it was mentioned in the article.
Corrales pulled his mouthpiece out and threw it on the canvas, that gained him 40 seconds, if that would not have happened, Castillo would have won the first also.

Not necessarily. He had the presence of mind to do that so I wouldn't say he was on ***** street when he went down. I think he was a little buzzed from the 1st knockdown. Corrales has the kind of power to change the outcome of a fight with 1 punch as we saw that night.

Stop whinin' about it- it was the best fight I've ever seen, and the stoppage was well-timed. If Weeks doesn't step in, Castillo gets permanent damage. He could not defend himself, and even though I'm not a Castillo fan, the fight game needs warriors like him. Castillo is, and should be, the favorite for the third chapter, but if Corrales fights like he's capable of, he should never be counted out. I'm just glad I'm not shelling out $50 to watch it this time.

            hmm

The stoppage itself was good, but Corrales should have been DQ'd or stopped himself prior to that really. I suppose Castillo isn't that worried about it, s a trilogy has come out of it, with him getting a KO in the rematch and earning bookoo bucks.

Castillo has been a great fighter for a long time, but this trilogy has given both of these great warriors the recognition they deserve. You make the point about the DQ, and honestly if I were not a huge Corrales fan, if it'd been Casamayor or someone like that, I would probably agree. I just hope that this fight is not marred by any controversy, and I'd love to see it go into the championship rounds.

I agree, and he will win in the same fashion the third time. Corrales/Castillo was a wonderful fight, and we all know who is the better fighter. He was ahead on points in the first one, and won the second in dramatic fashion, the third fight will end with Castillo with his hand up.
