No it wasn't. They waited a few weeks before announcing it. If I recall correctly they even threw around Ruslan's name as Alvarado's next opponent.

I obviously didn't mean instantly in a literal way. -_-

Well it's only been two days since the fight. I hope Ruslan gets a rematch also. That would put all doubt to rest. Unless he wins then there's a 3rd lol

If Rios wins the rematch, I'd like to see him in with Bradley, and Alvarado take on Provodnikov.

Or a rematch of Saturday's fight.

This is the most likely case. Arum wants to mix and match Rios, Bradley, Pac and Marquez.

How would he fight winner of the Rios/Alvarado if he's stayin at 147? Those guys fight at 140?

Not to mention if Alvarado wins I'm sure there will be a 3rd fight.

He should go for the Bradley rematch

                Great fights ahead!

Provo vs Rios then Alvarado vs Bradley. Then winners and losers against each other!!! Like a mini dream-tournament...

Yeah, Arum has lucked out with Rios/Alavarado I and Bradley/Provodnikov being in the same weight campaign.

                  Hope we get Rios/Bradley next.

Rios will beat Alvarado in the rematch and probably stop him sooner to be honest. As strong and tough as Ruslan is he got hit way too much and even busted up by Bradley who isn't a puncher really at all. The last person Ruslan wants to tangle with is psycho Rios. Not saying Rios could take Ruslan's shots but if he can, Ruslan is in deep **** lol. Ruslan is a strong sob though and it looks like he will be tank at 147 so folks better beware. However as I said, if Bradley had legit power, Ruslan would be been stopped because of those body shots and head shots, he took a ton of shots.
