I noticed something about Bradley last night. Why he has little power.

I notice he doesn't turn his hips or lean into his punches. His hooks and uppercuts are all arm, while his jab and straight seem to be thrown with speed in mind, rather than pop.

Anyone else think this is the reason? Or something else?

Yeah, I've noticed that too. He's the Nick Diaz of boxing. Not a lot of power, iron chin, and just won't die.

Yeah, he uses his upper body solely, no legs at all. It's like he plants his feet but not in a punching position, more of like a horizontal position and kind of squares up.

He doesn't need power honestly as it doesn't win him his fights, his movement and elusiveness does. He has hurt plenty of people along the way without being a power puncher. Strategy wins fights not power.

While I still don't think Bradley is an A-Class fighter, could you imagine if he was able to incorporate hips into his punches? It may be a little late in his game to change his style and pick up new technique, but the idea of him mixing some power in there really interests me. He could be one hell of a fighter.

I don't know how to describe it but his punches are like little flicks especially the rounds after he was hurt

the judges in the us are incompetent, they somehow side with more main stream names. bradley was just moving a lot but provodnikov clearly gave out more punishment. another gift decision

yah, you're right, it's been commented on. it's his biggest technical flaw imo, ingrained to a large extent (he had been trying to work on it). his tech allows him to get off and blind a guy with quick flurries, but without much power.

although, i do think it's more a combination of technique and lack of natural pop. some guys can do damage with those kinds of shots.
