Comments Thread For: Roach Upset: Ruslan Should've Had Three 10-8 Rounds

If Roach wants something to complain about he can start with his own fighter not defending himself at all and not going to the body. If he does just one of those two things he pulls out a win.Comment

so? bradley's trainer said he was oging to stop the fight earlier as well lol...
truth is the first round should have been 10-8 but the incompetent judge failed to score it a knockdown. the second round bradley was flailing all over the place again looking hurt as hell thus making it a strong case for a 10-8 round..and then there's obviously the knockdown that was actually called when bradley went on his knees. so 3 10-8 rounds....Last edited by Bermuda; 03-17-2013, 10:14 AM.Comment

Dude the fight should of ended in the first round. Bradley got knocked down...got up and fell again. That's automatic tko right there. Apparently ruslan thought so to when he put his hand up.
anyways...its obvious Tim Bradley visits this website because he mentioned that everyone says he has a boring style. He tried to fight a fight he's not accustomed to and that's brawling. He found out real quick his chin wasn't what he thought it was. Don't know what to say...its a double edge sword with him...if he brawls he will get knocked out...if he boxes he's boring.Comment

when you have a trainer that does'nt know out to properly train.this is what you get.Comment

does it really matter? provodnikov was killing bradley with head shots... only thing was provodnikov wasn't being active enough possibly due to poor stamina.Comment

Rare you see 10-8 rounds with no knockdown or point deductions. It's unreasonable to criticize the judges for not giving out "three 10-8 rounds".
I'm not a fan of it either. If you show toughness and make an effort to fight back and stand on your feet you shouldn't be penalized for it.Comment

Bradley stayed on his feet and kept throwing back. It wasn't like he was getting beaten around the place for three minutes of those rounds either. I can see why people would want to call at least one of them a 10-8 round, but it would have been harsh.Comment

Yeah, this. Dudes, Provodnikov was supposed to have effectively no chance. Freddie Roach's fighter - a virtually unknown one at that - almost KO'd a massive favorite numerous times last night. I'd say that can't be counted as part of his ongoing "bad run" as of late.Comment
. your just tired of losing roach
