If RP would have been winning & staggered & kept Tim from doing work I'd agree w/ 10-8. But RP wasn't blowing tim out in those rds...TB was just more visibly hurt. He was working throughout each & every rd touching RP upstairs & down. a good 30 sec doesn't negate 1.5 or 2 min of good work in a round completely. It just evens it up. 10-8 is for total domination.

Tim Bradley finally earned my respect big time in this one.

Actually...I changed my mind!! 10-8 for knockdown only. 10-9 rewards a staggered fighter for staying on his feet. Otherwise no incentive to stay up.

Exactly. What is the point of a fighter trying to weather the storm and stay on his feet if you he is still going to lose the round by 2 points?

I think 10-8 rounds are totally justified if you win a round big and seriously hurt your guy. imo a round were you hurt your opponent bad and dominate him should be worth more than a round you just about edge.

Bradley was out on his feet in rounds 1 and 2, so yes Freddie is right, it should have been three 10-8 rounds not one. This one has rematch written all over it. Can't wait.

If you look at the first round, Provodnikov should have been credited for that knockdown. He hit Tim Bradley with a short left hook. He barely pushed him down and Tim was clearly hurt off of the punch. Once again, the deserving fighter loses. Tim Bradley luck will run out. I say Line him up with Rois, then Lucas or even mayweather....end this frauds career...

I am kinda shocked , NO WAIT, why should I be ?

Fights can be won in funny ways :

1. A ref can miss a true Knock down. It this case it was a delayed shot that put Timmy down in round 1, then he floundered trying to get up. Normally a ref will stop the fight immediately when one makes a flounder trying to get up.

BUT

This ref didn't. Thats cool, we saw a great fight but one fighter, Ruslan, was not given the proper CREDIT for the Round.

example : Pac vs JMM 1. Round 1, one judge failed to do the right thing in giving Pac the GREAT a 10 /7 round and that one round would have put Pac in the winners circle. That would have made the series 3 wins for Pac , one for JMM
