Arce's four belts are by far bigger bull****. Two of them, 115 and 118, were vacant WBO title fights against the same, mediocre fighter, Angky Angkotta, who had done nothing to deserve a title shot in the first place. He was essentially handed title belts. I loved watching Arce fight, but calling him a "four-division champion" is pretty meaningless when high-profile fighters get a tin belt every time they enter the ring

I agree with you If all the hot air on here were collected the balloon could cross the tlantic without a touchdown in the drink.

Bradley didn't beat Pacquiao, but the judges said he did. The WBO accpeted this and awarded him the title belt. He's a champion. If he loses his next fight the winner will be recgnised as the champion.

Championship titles are vested in the sanctioning bodies. Fans don't appoint champions. If it makes them fell better thay can keep the conviction in their minds that Marquez isn't the 140 lb champ and whoever beats him isn't a champion either. And so on and on.....

Let them enjoy it.

Despite Maniac being a idiot biased jackass, I think he's right in this being opinion.... because down the road, nobody will really get into it that much. Just like everyone recognizes Manny as a 8 division champ, but 140 was for a Ring and IBO belt and 154 was a catchweight diamond belt.
I mean, you guys are criticizing Marquez for winning against the interim belt against some sub-par eastern European.... but Morales won a vacant belt against Cano, who at the time never fought outside of Mexico, on short notice.
Yea i know the difference between interim and full title is what separates these two title wise, but both fought poo poo competition for the title

Marquez is not a 4 division Champion. You have to win a title to be a champion and Marquez has not.

boxrec and other sites say Marquez is a champ in 4 different weight classes so your opinion is irrelevant and just that a siple opinion.
