WBA #3 / IBF #6 ranked heavyweight and former WBA king Ruslan Chagaev (30-2-1, 19 KOs) of Uzbekistan will reportedly be back to the ring activities on March 22 at Universal Hall in Berlin, Germany.
Local sources say Chagaev will take a tune-up before securing bigger and more meaningful fights. His opponent will be American journeyman Mike Sheppard (20-14-1, 9 KO) in what seems to be easy money for the Uzbek fighter. The bout will be part of a show promoted by Arena Boxing. The main event will see Odlanier Solis (18-1, 12 KOs) risking his IBF I/C titlist against controversial Norse veteran Leif Larsen (17-0, 14 KOs).
