Canelo realizes that at 22 he breaking serious bread, started a promotion company, and does not need DLH to break him into PPV stardom.

Where Floyd clearly had that start power at the same age...Oh WAIT!

    A la verga puto!

mayweather does'nt need this spoiled crybaby period. its awfully funny that guerrero will get more money fighting mayweather than canelo will make in the trout fight.canelo needs to quit crying and worrying about mayweather and focus on trout.he's not good enough to beat mayweather anyway.period.

This. He shouldn't even have commented on the whole Floyd agreement situation.

If Canelo beats him and looks good in doing so, then Mayweather should fight him next. The Guererro fight will hardly be competitive, unless of course Mayweather suddenly ages over night.
Hmm Winky was a career 154 lber lol.

Not to say he's ducking him cuz I don't use that term but why avoid the fight? It's bigger than a Guerro fight, you have to agree with that? Why is a guy like Floyd that's at the tip top of the world of boxing make a fight like that? And not fight bigger names! When Hatton was in this position that Canelo is in now, huge fan base! Floyd didn't hesitate to fight him! What's the difference? The ultimatum? All he was saying is that if you are pimp me for PPV numbers! Reward me with a contract that we will fight next. Think the difference is Canelo just may be the goods and he knows that. But his fight against Trout will show how talented or untalented the kid is
Because if Floyd were to fight canelo right now & destroy him, he'd be crucified for beating an untested young fighter who's done nothing. It's really that simple. I still don't understand why people are even mentioning Floyd/canelo when canelo has to fight Trout 1st, (a fight I don't think he can win fairly).

Goes both ways tho, it's probably the biggest money fight they can both get if they both win. Thing is this, for that reason, why would Floyd want any other fight?

I agree Trout is a tough test for the kid. And it starts there. But if he can win in an impressive fashion. He's not a young untested kid anymore. And in some circles Floyd's getting negativity for this fight he has coming up! So why not make the largest payday. Even untested I think Canelo beats Guerro, but I understand that's my opinion. I just feel like a person in Floyd's position should be in De la Hoya mode, making the biggest fights possible every time he laces them up. Not fighting a guy as you said about Canelo, that is just as untested honestly at 147, a win over Aydin(who's lost again to a subpar fighter) and a win over Berto, which says what? And all of sudden, he's the man? And I like Guerro so don't take that as a shot at him but when he became Floyd's mandatory people laughed at him, even Floyd, now he's worthy?

Well if, (a very big if), canelo does beat Trout (fairly), then there would be no excuse why Floyd does not fight him. But until canelo actually earns a (fair) W over Trout, he's still just a pampered, spoonfed, money bought child.

Yeah def think and agree Canelo has to really win, nothing controversial! But the kid is a draw. So why aren't the top guys coming for his scalp like the were for Chavez jr. Everybody wanted some of him. No one cared he was untested! They wanted the pay check and easy win. No one seems to be doing that with Canelo, kind of makes me think the kid may really be able to fight. The trout fight will say whether that's true or not

What do you mean bro?? Everyone at 154 has wanted to fight him for some time. In fact after Trout beat Delvin & K-9 beat Spinks both called him out. Lara's called him out & Vanes actually refused to fight Lara again if he didn't get a signed guaranteed (eerily similar to canelo's demand of Floyd).

In short the entire division has been gunning for his head. But for whatever reason, small, shot or old fighters were deemed more fitting than the best at 154. I hope you're not twisted enough to believe the division was ducking "him", cause that'd be crazy.
