I know Fury doesnt have the skills, but....

you guys should research where his roots are from.

The term "cut from a different cloth" pretty much sums it up. He's not your typical irishman. TRUST ME.

As youve probably read he's a "traveler", in Ireland we call then gypsy's, tinkers. They are absolutely NUTS. There has never been a successful irish traveler because most of them spend their whole life on the run, hiding from police/government.

Although Tyson was born in England, his family is from Galway (where i was born). Although this is pretty irrelevant, ive seen travelers fight on the streets before, they DO NOT stop. You a weapon to get them to stop.

His dad was one of the best bare knuckle fighters in all of Ireland. Hes currently serving an 11 year sentence for gouging a mans eye out. Gypsys are nuts man. Their truly programmed differently.

I don't think Fury has a lot of skills, and im not saying if they fought today he would beat either klitschko, but what im trying to say is dont underestimate what this guy can do. Youll NEVER see him go down the way Price went down. Travelers are so ****ing tough man.

If he gets in shape and sharpens up his skills, i really think he could accomplish some things in boxing. 100% serious.

    Fury isn't a bad fighter, he's decent
just can't see Wlad losing until age catches up to him
Wlad's the gauge all the other HW's are measured against
based on that, any current HW looks like an afterthought for him
so long as Wlad is champ, just can't see Fury, or any HW, doing much
if he gets his shot this or next yr, would expect Wlad to beat him

Irish fighters are mostly crap. it's true and i'm allowed to say it because i'm half-Irish.

Fury is different. he's Manc Republic Irish/gyppo Irish, not that soft-headed kind of 'we like a scrap and a drink and we'll throw the gameplan out of the window for the sake of a good old tear-up and promoting stereotypes' Andy Lee type of Irish.

Fury does have skills. and he will fight his fight. fighting's in his blood, but he's no crude brawler in the boxing ring.

11 years for gouging a dude's eyes out? I think think of AT LEAST one person that I'd almost trade 11 years for, if I could gouge his eyes out.

Im 100% irish and i have to agree, irish fighters are ultimately warriors but soft at the same time. Its weird. Duddy was an absolute warrior but just too much of a nice guy to do anything in the sport.

nailed it right there. it's a curious paradox.

i think it's a mental hardness thing. if they were meaner in their mentality and didn't conform to type, they'd do better. look at Lee vs. Chavez for an example. sometimes being the badman is actually the softer option - it gets people excited for as long as it lasts, so you get to look double-hard for a few minutes, but it gets you sparked ultimately.

Fury's a bit different. if he has to show his balls, he will. but he's evolved into a disciplined strategist.

                  Fury is mentally strong.
I use to laugh at him, a big gimmick but I forgot how young he is.

He is 24 now so was quite young when he upper cutted himself. LOL.

                  He has size.
                  Decent speed.
                  Seems tough.
                  Decent power.
                  Some good mental game.
                  Seems focussed lately.

it's gonna be funny to see him winding guys up with fighting talk and trash and then coming out and frustrating them with disciplined boxing.

exactly what he would've done to Price. talked a ton of trash at the pressers, maybe sparked a mini-riot at the weigh-in, then slipped, slid, made him miss and put his lights out in the ring.
