Seriously Gamboa. Did he really just say, "You can run but you can't hide"?? Wow did he develop amnesia?? He got ran from his own press conference in his own city. Hell he even left his countryman to do his fighting for him.

This is an awful match up and I hope it never happens.
Are you serious Gamboa vs Broner would not be a good fight??? lol Bro what are you talking about?? Your opinion sounded like a bias statement. Lets keep it reall all around. Yes youre right, Gamboa got hit; BUT did you see Broner's last fight?? He got hit so many times by Rees also. Just because Broner stands like Mayweather and tries to immitate his style, doesnt mean he is as good as Mayweather. Yes defence is important, but doesnt determine who will be the best one in a fight. Perferct example, look at Guerrero vs Berto. Or Ortiz vs Berto. IMO Berto had better defense than both, but look how he came out short. Gamboa is a very dangerous opponent, just cause he got hit doesnt mean he's not on a A level.

Don't get me wrong. It would be fun to watch, all four rounds of it. Broner may not be some atg or anything, but he is bigger, younger and stronger with better defense and proabably a bit more durable.
Gamboa is slipping from A-level with every second. That isn't biased opinion, that is a fact.
Gamboa brings nothing to the ring that Broner can't do better. If I am wrong, please enlighten me.

Actual, your example serves to illustrate my point. If you look at Berto/Ortiz, you had two boxer/punchers, both quick, strong, young and with decent defensive skills.
In most areas, Ortiz was better (except defense, which you pointed out), bigger, younger, stronger and maybe a fraction quicker.
Same here, Broner is bigger, younger, stronger, at least as good on defense and speed.
I just think Gamboa is too small and is starting to slip. Broner should fight someone his own size.

                      No, it's opinion.

His last outing was his first fight back after a very long lay-off and up in a new weight division. A fight in which he dominated and dropped a solid opponent who hadn't been down.

Broner is nowhere near as fast as Gamboa and doesn't move anywhere near as well, he's not as skilled either. He's simply the bigger guy...we'll see what happens when he fights an elite opponent, or even a good opponent who can move.
