Former unified featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa (22-0, 16KOs) made a rare radio appearance when he spoke to us on BoxingScene.com's official audio show, The Boxing Lab last Tuesday. Gamboa has largely stayed under the radar since having his contract bought out by rapper 50 Cent. He returned to the ring after a 15 month layoff last Saturday and won a twelve round unanimous decision over Michael Farenas on the Manny Pacquiao versus Juan Manuel Marquez pay-per-view undercard.

Granted that was 3 months ago and people are allowed to change their minds in this country.

And IIRC after Gamboa won one of his fights Juanma got on the ring and they agreed to fight, so its not like Juanma tried to duck him. Plus, I believe that fight would have happened if it weren't for Salido.

Thought Gamboa was getting some sense for a sec..... Gamboa-Lopez at 30 makes sense

At 35 it doesn't happen

At least that's what I interpreted from the article
