Of course Khan is happy, the rest of the fighters have to walk through fire in their fights, and Zab isn't a pushover when motivated. All Khan has to do is beat a shot fighter who's best days were when Khan was still an amateur!

Say what you want about Khan but he is an entertaining fighter and brings in the fans. Garcia, Peterson, and Lucas are legit but don't put butts in the seats. Fair or not, the prize is a big money fight with Khan at the end of the year.
I think he beats Garcia and Peterson in a rematch. Would love to see him fight Mattysse though. Would be a good test to see if Khan has progressed as a fighter or is who we all think he is.

I disagree with the bolded. Garcia would clean his clock again and Peterson would beat him again. Last fight was a close fight but this time I don't think Lamont would wait to start attacking and Lucas could possibly injure khan badly.

So basically the tourney is between four boxers and Khan waits until it's over to fight the winner? What exactly qualifies Khan for this treatment?

Is he Ring champion? Nope.
Is he ranked number one at the weight? Nope.
Does he even hold a title? Nope.
Has he beaten all the participants already? Nope (he's lost to more than he's beat).
He's a proven live gate and PPV draw? Nope (unless someone has proof otherwise).

As stated, it's a joke that he's the prize especially as two of the four have a W against him already. Either get another participant and have a super six or keep Khan's name out of it. Let him worry about the Molina and Diaz type opponents as he rebuilds himself yet again.

Why is Golden Boy still protecting Khan? If anything Danny Garcia or Lamont Peterson should be the one waiting for the winner of a Tournament. This just proves that Golden Boy and Schaefer just do not have faith in Khan reaching the finals without some help. Just Add Brandon Rios or Ajose Olusegun to the tourny and give Khan a First round Opponent, instead of this Nonsense.

Khan is the money man and has already fought 3 out of the 4 people fighting in this pseudo 'tournament'. Add in the fact that Khan needs to rebuild after losing 2 out of his last 3 fights, then his position as the reward for this tourny makes total sense.

Haters just can't seem to understand that this isn't a proper tournament. The winners of each fight were already being lined up to face each other. Khan is the next step in the process. Just enjoy a great run of fights and stop moaning you silly bores.
