Ward, I doubt you mean this but if Floyd felt he could capture a title at 160 without much trouble he would have done so a while ago, it's too big a jump.

All respect to Ward, but wow what a dumb move, now he's going to have to answer why he's willing to drop to 160 to fight Floyd, a guy who doesn't even come close to the 154 limit, but won't fight Martinez at 160. SMH.

Yes, because now Floyd has to fight Middleweights and Super Middleweights just for somebody to have a chance to beat him.

Jesus Christ Ward would annihilate that little fruit. Even massively weight drained at 160.

                10 years? STFU
Floyd has fought the biggest names in boxing.
Thats what you are suppose to do when you are a PRIZE FIGHTER.
You fight the guys that bring the most $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Every fighter in the game would tell you that.

Why do you think Guerrero wants to fight Floyd?
Why do you think Ward would go to 160 to fight Floyd? You think it's because he is really mad at floyd and wants to beat him up?

Money money money money money. Thats it. Point blank.
So stop with the ducking crap.

Ask any fighter in history would they have fought delahoya for 25 million, Hatton for 25 million, Marquez for 30 million, Mosley for 40 million, Ortiz for 40 million, and Cotto for 40 million and guess what they all would tell you?

                HELL YES.

                This is called PRIZE FIGHTING.
Fighters do the legacy thing early in their careers when they are forced to. But once they reach super star status and become a cash cow........then they pick and choose the biggest money fights out there.

Ali did it. Leonard did it. Tyson did it. Delahoya did it, Duran,Hearns,Hagler, Chavez, etc.

ward is the best boxer P4P thats not even debateable in my opinion, no other fighter has wiped his division clean off with nothing but prime opponents. but he is sounding desperate here, he is starving for that PPV exposure and i get that but Floyd could barely make 154, his punches did nothing to Oscar in their fight. Ward should go to 175 and fight Hopkins, that's the biggest fight that can be made for him.

Ward is the one looking bad here - not Mayweather Jr.
