He's going to fight Canelo if they both win so it'll be funny seeing everyone back track here but we've seen it all before.

He used this first when people were asking him about Pacquiao, now he is using it with Canelo, although I don't think he is scared of Canelo like he was of Pacquiao, he mentioned he was closer to 40 than 21, and is fighting now for self preservation and to earn money while preserving his health.

so basically he is cherry picking his next 6 fights. Well Hopkins is nearly 50 and he basically fights all the young guns.

Doesn't mean he won't fight Canelo.
