I'm a big Canelo fan, but what worries me is he tends to fight in spurts and his chin is questionable. I think in order for him to win this fight, he will have to take it to Trout and never allow him to get off more that two punches at a time without returning. Canelo has to return when Trout engages him. Of course that is just basic stuff and I really don't know how Canelo can win a decision over Trout without getting a gift decision. Canelo will have to put a lot of pressure on Trout to get him out of there, I believe. I just don't know if Canelo has the stamina to fight that kind of fight. He hasn't really shown it in the past.

I saw that and that raises a lot of questions for me about what Canelo can actually take.

I'm here to tell you, canelo doesn't pressure, cut the ring off, or rough people up like some claim. He tries to act patient, & act like a counter puncher, he tires, but most importantly, shot & small fighters have hit him easily.

People say he has more power. I challenge that. He's faced only 1 remotely decent jr middleweight & he couldn't stop him. But that guy retired right after, (shot). Trout has the movement, speed, stamina, timing, I mean you name it, Trout has it.

Finally, the over hyped Canelo is facing a top ranked Jr middleweight. Its like day one for him and the boxing fans that haven't give hype much credit.

Weren't you like a huge Canelo fan? What the hell happened?
I was then I got tired of his and GBP's bs after like his third fight in the US... fighting these ****ty ass opposition.

I see a lot of Mexicans are mad cause they can't handle the truth. At least Lara has been fighting REAL JMWs in less than 20 fights and 3 of them top 10.

Tout may have only 14 KOs but most likely chances are he his harder than the JWW Canelo has faced. Ooh and btw it's not hard top collect stoppages when you fight shot and smaller guys like Canelo has been doing.

Yea like in the second round he was giving Canelo the business on the ropes.

Austin Trout by UD. Trout is a big Junior Middle weight. He has good boxing skills and really good defense. He is much bigger, stronger and has better boxing skills then anyone Canelo has been in there with.

I like Canelo I think he is a great fighter. He brought some life back into boxing. But lets be realistic he hasn't fought anybody. Austin Trout is a huge step up for Canelo.

By the looks of this picture Austin Trout has the size advantage.
I am picking Trout to Unify the belts at 154! This will be Canelo's 1st real Junior Middle weight challenger. Has has yet to fight an actual 154lb fighter.
