This is a great fight, but...

I am getting a bix anxious about this fight...It's looking like a Martinez-Williams I fight all over again.

Heck, it may warrant my first bet on here just to try the waters...if that's possible

1500 on Trout straight up for any takers if I can do it

They saw money and a easy win! Tho Golden Boy has carefully selected Canelos opponents I don't see TOP guys calling him out hot and heavy in the press! You have guys like Kirkland and Angulo that say Yeah I'd love to fight him. And I'm sure they would. But lets be real, they'd fight you right now for little or nothing, they just want to get back in the ring. Amd thats not a knock on them. they are old school, tough guy fighters. theyd fight a Klitscho for he right money. we know Canelo is a good pay day right now so yiu would expect top guys to want his scalp on the wall. but I have not read or heard anyone say he is an easy out. That's says something about the kids talent! I think Trout is a really good fighter so if Canelo does win, it will prove he's the goods.
I would have to agree with you 100% Canelo is very talented, has tremendous ability, is very ambitious and willing to fight ANYBODY, and still very young. I'm surprised he even has haters so early in his career. If you want to blame anybody for his career progression, blame GBP (whom I don't even see how they can be slammed because they try their best to make the best fights possible for him provided that nobody is clamoring to fight him.

Bull****. Cotto is not in his prime anymore but hes not shot. Still a verry capable fighter. Trout is a verry good boxer. He should not trade or go toe to toe with canelo. He has good legs and skills, he really has to use them in this fight.
Lets see how Canelo deals with that.

Bro, normally, I'd defend you because I was a diehard Cotto fan, have all his fights on DVD including his last two amateur fights, used to close down the block on Cotto fight nights, etc., but let's face the facts bro. The guy is shot, and the blue print to beat him has already been laid out over and over:

Stay competitive with him, drag him in to the later rounds, once he gasses out (round 8/9ish, which he ALWAYS does) pull out the bat and whip his ass. It's not a secret anymore bro. He was a great fighter, but Margarito and Pacquiao took something out of him and he has never recovered.

As a Puerto Rican, I'm starting to get desperate in search of my next Puerto Rican star. I watched a Showtime event late last year (I think it was November) where there were three Puerto Rican highly publicized undefeated prospects and/or contenders fighting on different undercards (don't remember names or who was the main event), and this was supposed to be like their coming out party. Dude, two of them got KTFO, and the other lost by decision. I couldn't believe my eyes and my pride was hurt. Juanma was my next guy I thought was going to take the torch from Cotto and instead, he's an undisciplined ****ing loser himself.

            (Part II)

Let's not forget about Dulorme. That mother****er was a disappointment last year too. Lou Dibelle ****ed him by throwing him in with the Wolves (a.k.a. Agregu) too soon in his career.

The guy has amazing skills and potential, but he's not being promoted the right way so will probably burn out in the near future too.

You're on...I got Canelo for 6 million points. I'll PM you in a second to make sure you're still in.
