I think the real reason Mayweather is trashing Ward is because Ward has replaced him as #1 on many pound for pound lists and Floyd hates that. Ward himself has trashed Froch, Kessler and Bute through the media a few times instead of calling them on the phone. I have to agree with Floyd that God would not take sides in a boxing match. I have never heard of Ward saying God would help him win a fight. As far as a fight between them at 160 goes I think Ward would win if he could make 160 without weakening himself to much.

If that was the reason for his statements he'd trash him as a fighter and belittle his recent accomplishments. To be truthful I think people are blowing things out of proportion in the sense that Mayweather is only saying what a lot of neutrals and in some cases Ward's own fans have said in the passed. Only part I found unnecessary was the ''Melt down his medal and turn it into a medallion''.

That said I'm in agreement with Ward, Mayweather should have spoken to him directly.

I am perfectly fine here, if people want to question my views so be it. I have no problem saying stuff people don't agree with or people thinking I am out there.

This is not settling anything though this is just a continuation, I know Floyd will say more garbage about Ward but why would Ward care if Floyd is going to get his name out there.

I just on't find what Ward did here all that much different than what Floyd did other than being more subtle and clever~ saying someone does not handle them self like a man is a dig~

That is a fairly lazy assessment, the only thing I said about Floyd in this thread is he is doing what he normally does, now that bugs the hell out of some people like yourself I on the other hand only vaguely care about that stuff.

I found what Andre Ward said interesting, which is why I am in this thread. I didn't really expect my take on Ward to be a well liked view but you should be happy people like me are willing to share views that they know people won't like and will stick around to back up what they say.

If Ward is silent on it good for him, if Ward comes back well he is just like everyone else~ which is not a big deal either.
