Id' argue that he has already done very impressive things and is on his way to being an all time great. The issue is not being great. It's being popular.

In that scenario, this is good for Ward because Floyd, not known to always have the most exciting style as well, is being a mouthpiece for Ward in a way Ward won't be for himself.

I'm not religious at all but have to agree with Floyd on the SOG comment.

I do like Ward though and think he's a great guy.

It's not Ward's fault he doesn't have a Gatti, DLH, Hatton to build his name up. He is beating all of the best guys in front of him.

The god thing is another story that no one will ever agree on. Me personally I hate it when athletes praise god all the time. Give yourself some credit for **** sake. God doesn't choose who wins who loses, who lives who dies in the ring, etc. Ray Lewis is the worst example. It gets annoying. But that's just me.

And Broner is more popular because he fights a more popular style. He's also fighting guys who are completely out of his league. Ward faced elite competition for three years straight now. Broner has yet to fight a guy who is beyond c level.That **** talk Broner does may be appealing to younger people, or funny to others, but he also comes off as a dumbass who is ignorant. Whereas Ward comes off as elegant and insightful. So in the end Ward is at least more respected in that regard.

froch,kessler,dawson and abraham that was it no one else and as time has passed we seen that abraham was to small for the division and that kessler is not the same fighter he was when he fought calzaghe.
ward is a great fighter but honestly you can pick at his resume just like you can most fighters and i don't know how fighting guys completely out of your league makes you more popular

Floyd does make one valid point. How can you pray to God when you are about to harm another human being for sport, money, and fame. I never understood when boxers, including mayweather, say that stuff like " I'm gonna win becuase God is on my side"..right..there are people starving and dying but God is gonna take his time to make sure you beat another person ... I can't front though, I love watching boxing so I guess that make me a hypocrite...carry on

How does God feel about Floyd threatening and hurting his children's mother, not to mention Children out of wedlock? How does God feel about Floyd frequenting strip clubs? How does God feel about Floyd spending God's money in strip clubs, enabling their sinful lifestyles! How does God feel about the love and greed Floyd had towards money? The difference is Andre Ward lives out his Christian faith, whether he's a boxer or an accountant. Floyd lives his life a mess. Take it up with God.
