If you think Donut-Aire beat Vazquez you are either blind or a huge fanboy. Admit it. I had it a 2 point win for Vazquez. And BTW, he beat the crap outta Donut-Aire. Deal with it.

Please, Marroquin couldn't even beat 14-5 Francisco Leal, a journeyman.

Donaire's 2012 resume netted him Fighter of the Year honors by most credible boxing en******. These are, you know, people who aren't blind, nationalistic internet nut huggers.

But you Rigonho fanboys keep hyping Robert Marroquin up if it makes you all feel better

Lol @ that dude that had Vazquez Jr. winning. It was only because of that biased LATINO judge it even went to a split decision.

It's like this, Rigo is only susceptible to the left hook which Donaire has. Donaire on the other hand, eats punches from far lesser fighters than Rigo. I think if Rigo can protect the right side of his face, Donaire is going to have a rough night. It is kind o like saying Donaire has a puncher's chance but it is misleading because it happens to be his best punch and Rigo's only glaring weakness.

I think Rigo will land sharp, head-snapping counter punches on Donaire at times in this fight and Donaire will have to count on that punch more and more as the fight progresses, especially if he can't get to Rigo early.

I'm not saying that Donaire doesn't have other good punches as he does and they are all pretty powerful but Rigo has a far superior defense to those other guys. The big difference I really see is Rigo's footwork and ability to use angles.
I just feel that Donaire will have a harder time reaching Rigo than he has with some of his other recent opposition.

I think it is a pretty even fight overall but I sense that people are expecting a blowout from Donaire but I don't think it will be that easy. If you look at the fights where Rigo "got exposed" his opponents only really were able to land the one or two punches that may have wobbled him in the entire fight.

I'd just be prepared for a chess match type fight because Rigo won't open up easily. Donaire will sense this and try to exploit it which is when it could get dicey for him because Rigo is fast enough to counter him coming in.
