All you Rigondeaux fans are dillusional, biased, and are idiots. The only thing that is making you guys support him is your national pride. I don't see (at all) how this guy was even considered a potential match for Donaire.

I don't care how good someone's pedigree is in the Amateur's, or how hot of a prospect the fighter is - no one, and I mean NO ONE should be given the opportunity to fastforward their career and fight a proven Champion at an elite level with an 11(7)-0 record. He should still be fighting bums and building up his resume TO title contention. Top Rank did him a disservice, his team misguided him, and the guy is an idiot to think he can climb the ladder skipping important steps needed for a successful career.

YES, he's a hot prospect with an OUTSTANDING amateur career, but there are reasons you go from Prospect to Contender to Challenger to Champion, and this guy totally missed the train in that career building process. You don't go from Prospect to Champion...NEVER.

Have you guys considered what's going to happen if he loses next month? He's going to flame out from dissapointment and he's going to lose the infamous "0" in his record for a fight that could've been worth much more later in his career. Yes, he will be a champion one day, but next month won't be that day for him unfortunately.

If I was Donaire, I would've totally prevented this fight in the best interest of the prospect and his career. I give Donaire a lot of credit for putting up with his **** too. I would have not had the patience to put up with the demands and the mind games this guy has put him through during the contractual agreement process. I would've laid MY terms, and you would've taken them or leave them PERIOD. NO prospect has the right to make demands with an opportunity like this...NO PROSPECT.

Donaire by TKO and I'll put all the little bit of Fantasy Credits and reputation on the line for it.

          BTW I'm half Cuban.

He's a champion in his own right ... He has a belt ! Prospects are not ranked 1 in their div. with a belt.

Half Cuban ? I hope what I just read came from your other half.

Doesn't matter who's the best at counter punching cause the smartest boxer will win.

Still, Rigo also has good power as well as being the better boxer, counter-puncher, mover, more intelligent....Rigo has more.
