Please, Hopkins has never been embarrassed by any one, not even a prime Roy Jones or Chad Dawson, who have been his clearest losses.

Go see Ward vs Bika, it was a rough and dirty fight that Ward clearly won but it was not easy by any stretch. Hopkins is a much better fighter than Bika, and can get much dirtier and rougher. And Ward did no where near anything like "embarrassing" Bika, it was a highly competitive fight.

If these two fight people are going to be shocked.

Hopkins will give him a close fight. It will be a chess match.

****m has known ward since he was like 10, not sure about hopkins but they go way back too. im not sure if i would call them friends but there is a lot of mutual respect, they came out to support eachothers fights a few times too.

i agree hopkins doesnt want to fight ward because he knows he will lose, not because they are friends. hes been saying so for some time. thats one thing you gotta love about hopkins, you cant accuse him of ducking anyone because if he was he would just admit it himself.

like with glen johnson, glen wanted a piece of hopkins and he just said no. stated he knew johnson was a much better fighter now than when they first fought, that it would be a tougher fight and even though he belives he would win a rematch too it aint worth it. best case scenarios he struggles to beat a guy he already dominated, so he would only fight johnson if hes the only man out there.

he's lost before...doubt he's afraid of taking a "L"....Chad Dawson presents way more problems for B.Hop than Ward does at 175 imho

Agreed. Dawson is a far more challenging opponent than Ward. Also I point to Ward's though fight with Bika. Boxing is about styles.
