Yeah, I'm going to this fight. Have everything booked, flights, hotels etc just got to get the tickets and I'm sorted.

I'm probably going to get the 600 ones this time.
yeah, fights are great no matter what and Im sure its even better with the Vegas atmosphere so just being in the building is fine but still, there is nothing like some good seats to a fight

The fight isn't going to sell out. Scalpers will probably grab all the cheap tickets first, but the midlevel and expensive tickets will be available. And if you go to Vegas there will be tons of scalpers trying to unload the cheap tickets.

And I'm starting to think the ppv is going to have a hard time selling more than a million buys. Late start on the promotion, Mayweather getting his guaranteed money will slow down his hustle a bit, and Showtime still trying to ramp up - all scream low totals for this fight, imo. Guerrero has no real following, and the last time Showtime/CBS handled a big fight (pac) they did disappointing numbers.

The only 1.5 million buy and above fights out there for Floyd are Canelo and Pac...and maybe Sergio. Mayweather and his handlers (like usual), were smart to grab the guaranteed money because with Pac declining, Money only has so much mystique and options remaining these days.

It's only a 15k arena so it's not that big.
U got some good Peepers, Binaculars help, but they have the Giant Screen TV's,
That keep U in the Action, the Grand Holds !8,000+, but FRAUD usually fights to
a couple thousand empty seats, that the Casinos can't Give Away to High rollers....
If U hang around the Stadium, during the under card, U can usually Buy tickets at Big Discounts from the Rollers that the Casinos give an extra 1 or 2, and the Cat's Wives,
choose Chipendales, instead of going the Fight...The Fight Camps recieve tickets that the Scalpers Hang Out to sell too!!!

I have almost no clue what you're trying to say but thanks for the help.

I'm flying over from the UK so I'll be buying my tickets before hand.

but why do people act like a mil is nothing? I think 1mil for the Ghost is very good. Its like people get spoiled on PPV numbers now. If he does a mil with the Ghost then thats great to me and great for boxing

That should have read 18,000, and the Casinos Comp their Big Players,
and give them tickets for the wives, who often don't attend, and You'll
have Dudes asking U, if you have extra tickets as you make your entry...
Scalpers, depending on the Flow will sometimes Off tickets at Big Discounts!!! That's why a Fight might be a sell out, and there can still be a couple thousand empty seats!

After the Mayweather/Guerrerro fight, there are going to be haters/idiots who will post on this site and claim that Alvarez is a bigger draw than Mayweather because he sold more tickets to his fight against Trout and possibly sold out the arena whereas Mayweather did not. I have one comment for those haters/idiots. When your ticket prices range from $10 for the cheapest seats to $300 for ringside tickets as they will for the Alvarez/Trout fight, you will likely sell more tickets than a fight where the prices range from $200 for the cheapest ticket to $1,500 for ringside seats as they will for Mayweather/Guerrerro.

This is something the Pac worshippers have never understood. They think that the larger crowds for Pac's fights actually mean something when in reality, it simply means that Bob Arum has cut ticket prices to virtually nothing or used promotional rebates and giveaways to push ticket sales.

You have a good point. The Mayweather haters act like 1 million PPVs is nothing. However, no other fighter (including Pacquaio, who last sold 1 million PPVs against Margarito) have even come close to seling a million PPVs in the last few years except Mayweather and none of them, except Mayweather have done it consistently (including Oscar De La Hoya). If Mayweather fights Austin Trout next, he will sell 1 million PPVs for that fight as well. Alvarez cannot sell worth a damn on PPV. In fact, if Richard Schafer thought that Alvarez/Trout was capable of selling 100,000 PPVs, he would move the fight to June and put it on PPV. However, he knows Alvarez is not PPV material, in spite of what his fans and the haters on this site think.

i have been to 2 floyd fights...mayweather vs ortiz and mayweather vs cotto. both were the $600 tickets and the view was damn good. as someone stated earlier the arena looks huge on tv but in person its not as big as u may think...i have been to other boxing fights as well at barclays and msg but NOTHING COMPARES TO A VEGAS FIGHT! HANDS DOWN GREATEST EXPERIENCE u rub elbows with sooo many boxers and celebrities...i have met mike tyson (got an autograph) i met Emmanuel Stewart (RIP) also got his autograph, ive met devon alexander, seth mitchell, pauli malignaggi, ROGER MAYWEATHER, ah man too many lol. i got pics with them all they just walk around the mgm grand chilling like right before or after the weigh in they all just chill around u can grab pics and autographs from most...it gets kinda tough cause the crowd is intense and everyone is trying to get a pic and what not...also note to those who dont know...THE WEIGH IN IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC SO FIRST COME FIRST SERVED SEATING!! doesnt matter if u paid for $1250 seats and bout 10 if its full ur assed out...ummm thats about it...

P.S. oh yeah the after parties r fuC*ing insane! so have fun those who are going i will most likely be there
