  • Comments Thread For: Malignaggi is Excited About Broner Fight, Rips Thurman

WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi (32-4, 7KOs) is very excited about facing Adrien Broner (26-0, 22KOs), the WBC's lightweight champion, on June 22 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

    BoxingScene.com: Thoughts on The Fight:

"It's exciting. I think it's a fight a lot of people are going to be looking forward to and I think it's a fight that a lot of people will be hyping. It has poetntial for a lot of fireworks, a lot of press, a lot of coverage, a lot of crazy antics from me and Adrien. We're always talking a lot and we our shticks with our gimmicks. I think between all that, and putting on a great fight, I think it will be a great event." [Click Here To Read More]

Rees found him pretty easy to hit. Despite the constant comparisons to Mayweather, Broner is more of an offensive fighter. But like Rees, Malignaggi doesn't hit very hard, so it shouldn't be a problem. He's a great talent, but he's not some defensive genius.

Exactly. I don't see Broner as being that great defensively.

maybe this guy meant tough to beat....cause even slow a-ss DeMarco put his hands on Broner, but Broner got a good chin along with very good skills.

Funny when a white boxer pops ish he's viewed a good trash talker but when Broner or Mayweather do the same they are called every name under the sun! Jersey Shore AKA Paulie Malinaggi is nothing more then a serve up fighter/gate keeper for young fighters. Cotto Khan Hatton now Broner will knock that door off the hinges!

I think the only person that view him that way are people like yourself and others who just don't like him because he try to act like Floyd. I mean I could be wrong help me out did he ever dub himself a "defensive genus" ??? I see a offensive fighter...no?

Nonsense. Look at Tyson Fury. Dumb post.
