Cleverly vs Hopkins is a genuine 50-50 fight. Styles makes fights and whilst Hopkins usually make unbeaten champs freeze, Cleverley isnt the type to suffer crisis of confidence like Pavlik and Tarver did.
Like Calzaghe theres a natural arrogance there and he will keep working away trying to impose his style rather than accept Hopkins'.
I think Joes output numbers were reduced and Nathans will be too as theres a big experience discrepancy but whereas Cloud have up trying, Nathan will keep working especially if he has 50k in the stadium cheering him on.

Of course Hopkins is going to play that role as the old man he wants no part. I just leave it up to Ward to call for the fight if it's really to be made. Young ambition, I'd think there might be SOME part of him that would like to fight, whereas Hopkins wants none until the money is right.

Hopkins saying there's no amount of money means there is an amount they [Ward] just haven't gotten to it yet; and maybe they never will since Ward hasn't proved to be a draw outside of his hometown yet. It was good fight for Ward to be commentating made it easy for Hopkins and him to be in the same picture and raise these questions because I do want to see this fight for selfish reasons.
