It looking like a great few months for combat sports in 2015 thus far -

In Feb, we had Rousey vs. Zingano (Mix Martial Arts) -- 14 second tap out

In Apr, we're getting Lesnar vs. Reigns (Pro Wrestling) -- Rollins wins

In May, we're getting Mayweather vs. Pacquaio (Pro Boxing)

I used to love wrestling when I was a kid. Not anymore. It's not the same.

As for MMA, I love certain match ups. I don't follow the sport but I love when they start slugging.

Jose Aldo had to pull out of UFC 189 and Brock Lesnar made his first wrestling appearance today in Japan for the WWE in over 10 years.

I like all forms of combat as I practice and master 95% of them. All have their merit.

I prefer MMA, especially some of the better strikers like Rampage Jackson, Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz. Boxing's still number one but I can enjoy a mainly stand up MMA fight and some of these dudes go to war and you have to admire a good fight.

CM Punk has pushed back his UFC debut until 2016 and Connor McGregor has a replacement opponent because Aldo pulled out. Brock Lesnar wrestle for the first time in japan in over 10 years this past Saturday

Lol I've thought about posting a similar question. I think most boxing fans watch the WWE, boxing fans love drama so to answer your question, wwe>ufc but oddly enough my favorite active wwe wrestler is the former ufc champ, Brock Lesnar! #suplexcity lol

Well this month is off to a flying start.

Brandon Rios was made to retire by tim Bradley, Ronda Rousey was eviscerated and lost her UFC Women Title and Seth Rollins was injured and thus stripped of his WWE World Title for being unable to compete.

As a fan of combat sports, can you see yourself watching mix martial arts or pro wrestling and if you watch both, how does it compare to the other combat sport we love, boxing?

Like all three of them assuming you mean pro-wrestling as actual wrestling and not the soap drama WWE type of thing.

In my opinion MMA has a better atmosphere in USA compared to the boxing venues we see, crowds seem more enthusiastic and overall the guys in control of UFC make more of a proper night of it with music etc and plenty of fights that and the undercard fights generally aren't absolutely balls compared to a lot of the ones we are fed in boxing.
