Tournament is better than the prize! Khan will fight Diaz in meantime and must have another fight in meantime. Id like to see him against Vargas

Khan should fight the loser of the Matthysse v Peterson fight in Nov/Dec and then if he wins should fight the winner of the winners of the 2 fights lol, if that makes sense. Basically, the guy holding 3 belts. That will determine the top dog at 140. After 18 months with Virgil, I expect Khan to be that dog.
Cue the 'can't train a glass jaw blah blah blah'. Khan takes shots on the jaw fairly well, just has trouble with shots to the temple and in the Garcia fight, the neck, a very unfortunate place to get hit with a huge left hook.Comment

Khan challenged himself already, got beat around the ring against Garcia, Peterson, I have no problems with him resting this one out to better improve on his skills. Bute never fought Khan's level of opposition before Froch annihilated him, don't really like Khan but it's damn insulting to compare the two.Comment

Agree. Matthysse starts off with Peterson, then has to fight Garcia (obvious choice). Where as Garcia starts off with Judah (LMAO), then Matthysse/peterson winner (obviously the winner will have much more wear and tear than the winner of Garcia/Judah.)
All while pretty little Khan sits atop his high perch, and watches from a distance.Comment

The silver lining in all this is, at least Matthysse gets his chance to show the world that he's the rightful heir to the throne at 140.
Let the game of thrones begin. Who shall sit on the throne?Comment

I don't understand all the 'Khan is the prize' comments or the flawed logic that he is somehow sitting out the danger. He arguably brings the most money and has already fought 3 of the 4 participants.
He has a win, a win/loss (close, disputed sd where 1 of 2 belts gets returned to him) and a loss. Most likely he gets the man left standing after 3 fights and it will be a hard rematch or Matthysse.
Either way, he is gonna fight his a$$ off and has a 66% shot at getting ko'd!!Comment
