Khan has fought Maidana, Judah, Peterson, and Garcia. Better competition than Lucian Bute.

And lost to 2 of them

They also became better fighters for beating Khan. Who were Peterson and Garcia before they faced Khan? 2 fighters with the best win between them being a draw with Ortiz

Apparently now all it takes to be overrated is just facing someone, not actually beating them. Khan should fight Augustus, he's faced everyone

This is good but Schaefer should have explained why Khan only comes to play at the end of the tournament.

Its insulting to Bute.

The only challenge Khan fought was Maidana, who alot of people thought would KO khans weak chin and he almost did. He then fought peterson and Garcia as what were to be easy defenses, Garcia being a really bad cherry pick and Peterson was suppose to be easy enough to beat in his turf. Both backfired and they became "good" fighters for beating him, nothing more really. Bute actually fought lower mid and lower top 10 fighters and then stepped up to an even fight with a proven champ and is rumored to face Pascal next

Judah, Garcia, and Peterson were all considered lower mid and lower top 10 jr welters when Khan fought them though. None of the guys Bute fought had any impressive wins either. They were definitely cherrypicks, but so was everyone Bute fought before Froch. Khan also has a good win over Kotelnyk.

The winner of the fight with both winners of there 1st fight will be the REAL tournament winner, Khan is like a cash bonus fight and should be the easiest work for the winner, but who knows if Julio isn't gonna beat Khan so what then

They were considered mid-low ranged and average, bumped up by a hole left with Bradley and Devon leaving and he lost to 2 of them, who did they beat? I didnt say bute faced better fighter but saying its an insult comparing bute to Khan is ridiculous, they have pretty very similar careers.

How right you are. They are just trying to revive his career because he's a big draw, due to his unusual-and fairly recent- humility.
