lol your an ******* dude. Just because you watch boxing for 20 years doesn't mean your master scoring is legit. People who like Cotto know he lost and not because HBO says so. Because they watch the fight. Nobodies saying they are better but if you continuously get blatantly wrong scores then maybe your doing something wrong. Maybe you can learn something from all the "16 year olds" instead of being a know it all prick. Just because you have been doing it for long doesn't mean you mastered it. Look at the HBO crew

Kellerman, Lampley and Lederman are three of my most hated so-called analysts ('****' being the operative syllable in their cases). i slag them off on this forum constantly (especially Lampley and Lederman).

but i still think you're clueless about scoring a fight. Cotto beat Mayweather and was robbed? Cloud earned a draw with Hopkins? lmaooooooooooo!!

      what now, TS?

I been reading boxing books and scoring fights when most of you guys were still in diapers. And that is a fact.
20 years ago most of you guys weren't even born, and guess what, I was watching old boxing fights. There were enough people who thought Cotto vs Mayweather was a draw or a Cotto win. I don't care what biased Floyd fanboys think. There were even american journalists of big newspapers who scored the fight for Cotto. Look it up.
If Max Kellerman tells you the sky is green, you believe it cause he says so. If Harold Lederman tells you he scored a round 10:5 for Mayweather, you have the same score.
If Jim Lampley tells you to jump off a bridge, you will do so.
Guess what, my mind doesn't work like that. I have confidence in my own scoring ability cause I didn't just wake up some day and said "I'm a boxing expert".
I learned boxing history for 20 years, so my confidence won't be shattered when a bunch of newbies/kids/(or ******s) think they know better.
Oh really, that's a fact, is it? As in, a scientific fact? Care to share your research?

Like I said, 20 years ago, I'd been following Boxing for 20 years.

Or they just are too dumb to understand that HBO has an agenda. To hype certain fighters for certain reasons. So if the HBO commenators tell you fairy tales, you believe it. Simply because you don't have the confidence to trust your own eyes. You think "hey, this guy is on TV, he must be right".
Showtime does the same thing. They tell you a story and go with it. They tell you how Andre Ward is clearly winning against Sakio Bika, but if you look at the fight from another perspective called reality, you see a total different fight. A very very close fight that is.
But you guys won't understand that and I really don't care to be honest.
It seems like you are trying so hard to have different scores than HBO to prove your better. Your stuck on them trying to brainwash people so you assume they must be wrong on everything. Just don't listen to them and score it just by watching the fight

What about the people who don't have HBO and Showtime in their country? I.e S. Saddler 1310 and I.

Oh that's right, you actually tried to tell ME that I was American and there is no chance I'm from the UK

Is that in the same bag of tricks where Cotto-Mayweather was a robbery and everyone but you is 16 years old and under?

I have to say, I love the argument of "I've been doing (insert whatever here) for (insert number of years here)" that this guy is attempting to utilize to his advantage. Lots of people seem to resort to this tactic when being questioned by their peers during a debate.

How the **** does your longevity in any particular exercise even begin to matter when you've clearly been doing it erroneously the entire time?

You literally never hear this argument outside of the internet, either.

Raskat is getting schooled like Cloud in this thread.

I watched the fight with a friend(which would make this fight his 2nd fight) and he certainly saw the fight for ol' Grandpa.

I didn't score, but seeing as how Cloud was a volume puncher and the fact he barely even threw more than Grandpa says something. Tons of ring generalship and I saw Cloud more than half the fight moving to Grandpa's movements, thus giving Grandpa control of the fight and the W. I'd watch it and score it for the sake of the thread, but you put in four 10-10 rounds which is ridiculous.

Listen guys, you have your opinion for whatever reason, and I have my own opinion. No need to go on with this forever. I didn't say all of you are 16 years old, I said quite some people here are 16 years old, which is no problem. But I have a problem with guys who act like they know everything when in my opinion they are making no sense with anything they say. Has nothing to do with age. If a 16 year old tells me Hopkins dominated that fight I find it as hilarious when a 40 year old tells me this.
Furthermore with a guy like Hopkins it is always a strange thing: his fans always think he wins rounds by doing nothing. He moves away, slips a few punches and then his fans think he won the round big.
Guess what, some people also look at punches being thrown. You guys act as if Hopkins was landing with everything he threw while Cloud didn't land a single shot. That is not reality. Cloud landed good shots also and Hopkins missed a lot also.
If you wanna see what you wanna see, you will see what you wanna see. If anybody tells me he has Hopkins winning the fight closely, I can listen to that and still have my own opinion.
But if anybody tells me Hopkins dominated, then.....I have to say you don't know too much about boxing.
