Jim Lampley during fight: "Tavoris Cloud has never been cut before!" ....What?

I just watched the Cloud vs Hopkins fight from yesterday and in round 6 Tavoris Cloud got cut from a punch by Hopkins. And Jim Lampley immediately says "Cloud has never been cut before (in his career)", and I am thinking to myself - "wasn't Cloud all bloodied up IN HIS LAST FIGHT against Campillo?"
And the answer is "Yes": (pictures of the Campillo-Cloud fight)




I mean this was just Cloud's LAST FIGHT. And Lampley is telling us "Cloud was never cut before". And then later he said "Cloud said he was never cut before".
Does that mean HBO puts out information just based on what a fighter tells them in a prefight meeting?

haha I don't think there was one headbutt. Imagine if the ref didn't break them up from clenches? I was glad they had the ref they did he got right to business without being unfair
