How did Floyd skip this division when he beat Artruo Gatti on June 25, 2005 for the WBC light welterweight title. Not to metion his first fight at the weight was against DeMarcus Corley in and WBC elimination bout. he then fought another elimination bout against Henry Bruseles before he won the title.

No not Roach, Hoya's previous trainer. You're just a simple minded noob who followed what the media sold you about how Hoya would "destroy him".

Roach called it exactly how it was which was the reason the fight was made in the first place. It's also the reason Roach didn't allow Pac to fight "too good" WW Champion Mosley who was no shot De La Hoya, according to Roach.

It's ok little guy, you don't have to admit that I am right and that Broner and Pac will both have jumped from 135 to 147. The only difference here is, the media is not as gullible.

We all know Pauli is not a massive puncher just like Pac and Roach knew Hoya was shot to **** and would drained at 147 which is why they had no problem fighting him at 147 but had a MASSIVE problem fighting Cotto at 147.

You guys know he wouldn't do this if it was someone like Tim Bradley instead of Paulie. He knows Paulie is awful, we all know Paulie is awful, the worst champ at WW. A guy who can easily be beat by any champ from 140-154. So him moving up to fight Paulie is an incredibly insignificant fight when Paulie is the worst champ.

It's like people giving credit to RJJ for moving up to fight Ruiz when Lewis was the real HW champ. If you move up it should be to fight the best, not to beat a paper champion and collect a title and then move back down. Which he will btw. Once he gets this title he's not going to have anything to do with those guys at 147 unless they are bums.

And yes Cano whooped Paulie's ass.
