So long as both fighters it wont effect how they are able to perform so cant make excuses afterwards. If you dont want to fight CW then please dont sign the dotted line.
^^^ This. Both fighters have a choice on whether to sign on it, so don't sign if you think that making the catchweight is going to affect your ability to fight. And people shouldn't discredit a fighter for beating another fighter at a catchweight when they agreed upon the terms.

When a fighter like PAC relies on them obviously they are to gain an advantage over their opponent which roach has stated plenty of times

It really boils down to people that always discredit Pacquiao for the Cotto fight. It's pretty obvious. People know that was a great win, so they have to reach.

It's usually from the Flowmo cult.

Youve never boxed in comp for money have you , and you got no idea the politics and pressure too sign big fights .

When a fight takes place and you can see one is weight drained , or you see the things happen like IV fluids used to try and rehydrate something , or diuretics , its called added information , its pretty dumb to credit or discredit a fighter until all the evidence is in and thats generally after the fight .

I would too, if I was a natural LW. Big money fights are at WW. If he can do it, all the power to him.

First of all how do you manipulate a catchweight?

second of all Henry Armstrong made Tony Canzoneri come down to 142 instead of the 147 for a welterweight championship bout.

Sugar Ray Leonard made Donny Lalonde come down an entire division at 168 for the 175 championship

Julio Cesar Chavez also forced Whitaker to come down to 145 instead of 147 for a welterweight title bout.

Oscar De La Hoya forced Bernard Hopkins for the 160 Middleweight championship bout to be held at 157.

Cotto comes down 1 pounds and pac is the CW king of history
