I rarely see any boxing around unless i look into it or didnt have HBO/Showtime. If i wasnt always on this website, i would have no idea Hopkins was fighting today, in my city nonetheless.

There was a 4,800 attendance for Broner-Ress, but Eddie Hearn (Rees' promoter) claimed there was less than 2,000 tickets sold.

4,000 for Peterson is pretty good considering he only fought on ESPN against a low level opponent. The Khan fight drew 9,000.

Man that is crazy, less than 2,000. I am not sure why they do fights in AC. Gatti and Pavlik could draw there but any other fight there does terrible attendance. I am glad they are doing the Canelo fight in San Antonio, I know Texas is crazy and I live in Texas but there are great fight fans here.

Also, why can't black fighters draw? Mayweather love him or hate him is genius b/c of how he has marketed himself and even without the most exciting style of all time but he has turned himself into must see. Look at all these black fighters that can't draw. Ward can draw in Oakland and Alexander in St. Louis but no where else.

They do it there because its a top ******** spot. That fight won sell good anywhere
