I'm really not sure Groves even beats Abraham tbh
I just can not see it.

Would he even beat Stieglitz? With the U.K refs and Doctors he might but on neutral ground I am not so sure.

This is just what Hearn does to hype his fighters before a title shot. He picks a weak-chinned opponent like Saldivia (Brook) or Mack (Froch). They want Groves to fight the Abraham-Stieglitz winner.

Froch didn't do him any favours there by talking down the quality of his opponent.

Haha yeah Froch was pretty honest about that, saying how Goves had to take out Balmaceda early.

I don't have a problem with Froch fighting Mack, he was a semi decent opponent, not on Froch's level but easily 10x better than this Balmaceda guy. Froch also fought Bute, Johnson, Ward, Abraham, Kessler, Dirrell, Taylor and Pascal before so I'm ok if he wants to take an easy fight.

Groves on the other hand needs to step up. I think even a completely shot Johnson was a decent step, and beating DeGale was also pretty decent, but it's time to move up and actually challenge better fighters. I hope he really fights the winner of Abraham and Stieglitz.

To be fair, I think the split in Manchester is about 70/30 to United. I think that everyone in Manchester supports City thing is a bit of a myth to be fair.

Someone with a good straight right hand is going to drill Groves pretty soon imo. I think we'll see him in a decent test in May. Hopefully it's against Bika, that would be a good one.
