Foreman prime weighs 220 -225 lbs

So barely any difference in wieght.

But a huge difference in speed as you can see for yourself.

Speed is twice as important as body weight in a punch and these 2 factors are the only factors that contribute to power. Speed squared times mass = power or something like that.

So how the hell does Foreman hit harder than Tyson?

I'm probably one of the few that doens't think speed = power. If that was the case, then Pernell Whitaker, Macho Camacho, Sugar Ray Leonard and Floyd Mayweather should be the hardest hitters in the history of the sport.

Meanwhile, slow punchers like Foreman, Margarito, Fernando Vargas hit like mules. Oscar once said that he never felt power like Vargas, that his punches weren't fast but that they were more of a "thud" than a "snap".

He doesn't hit harder than Tyson. Tyson put his body behind his punches and moved forward. He had much better technique than Foreman.

I believe you are right. They had different actions Foreman pushed his punches like Joe Louis did and Tyson threw his punches. Foreman's intention is push his fist deeper in the bag and Tyson hit with sharper thrown punches that did not go as deep.
