Is it wrong to be a die hard fan of a fighter?

It sounds like you are talking about yourself. There is nothing wrong with being a huge fan of a fighter. Sometimes I think you get carried away trying to make everyone agree with you that Mayweather is the greatest and can do no wrong. If anyone says Mayweather may not be be the best or did something wrong you are all over them. Not everybody likes Floyd as much as you do or thinks he is as good a fighter as you think he is. You make thread after thread about him either defending him or trying to prove how great he is. People will make up their own mind about him and you can't change it. I am a huge Canelo fan but when others say he should fight better fighters I don't argue with them because they are right. If they say he is unproven I don't arque with them because they are right. When they say he is still afraid to fight the best after he tried to get fights with guys like Kirkland, Williams, Cotto, Mayweather and Martinez and is signed to fight Trout I will defend him because they are wrong. I have had a few arguements with you myself. Sometimes you give Floyd credit for winning fights he has not won yet. Once I said Mayweather should either defend his 154 pound title in September or give it up. You reminded me that he only has to defend the WBA title once every 18 months. Technically you were right but you know yourself that defending a title only once every 18 months is wrong. I think you should continue to be a huge Mayweather fan but try to respect the opinions of those that don't think he is as wonderful as you think he is. I hope this make sense and most of the time I think you are a very good poster and very knowledgeable about boxing.Comment

NO! As long as you respect the sport IN GENERAL and is not just picking fighters based off of your MAN CRUSH or Race and a bunch of other BS that has nothing to do with the way the fighters fight IN THE RING!
When it comes to picking fighters a REAL BOXING FAN should be able to pick simply based on what the fighters can do IN THE RING but over the years that has changed, fans are now Emotionally Attached like a Teen Girl attached those damn Twilight Movies lol
This Forum is mostly TROLLS with multiple accounts now but I do remember when it was more BOXING FANS and people would actually discuss boxingComment

It's not wrong, but don't expect anyone to take you seriously when you defend everything a fighter/team does. All that attitude gets a person is making them sound like a 12 year old girl clueless about reality, or a 50 year old stalker. Whichever you prefer to be compared to.Comment

From my personal experience it is. Reason why, I used to be a HUGE De La Hoya fan and Erik Morales fan but both came to really dissappointment in the recent years. DLH for dressing in drag and Morales for the PEDs. I prefer not to be a die hard fan anymore because through my experiences it "can" set you up for dissappointment.Comment

This kind of backfired on Larry...maybe he should stick to making threads like 'Does the smell of a woman's bunghole turn you on?' or 'What does a fanny fart smell like?'.

1 guy said Pacman fans thought Pacman/Mosley was a good matchup.
The other said that sounds like something Bushbaby would say.
You come & co-sign. But say something totally different. Wow.
What you're saying is that I say how can Pacman/Mosley be ok, but other fights aren't.
That is not the same as Pacman/Mosley is a good matchup. So instead of just quoting people & taking shots, go read the posts.Comment
