True, but what's the worst that can happen? Broner loses a decision at two weight classes above and has to move back down. It might mess up the whole 'unbeaten' schtick but it's not the end of the world.

Floyd actually had 3 fights at 140. If Broner skips it completely after only 2 fights at 135, that would be completely different

Damn, I actually like it... Not the fight, but that Broner just straight through himself into the WW division....

I said before soon the 140 class will move up and Broner will be a champion there so whats problem? Msidana, alexander, sechenko, lopez, and others already at 147. Khan considering move. Soon lucas, garcia, and rios will make move cause the money will be ar 147 again

Forgot about Ortiz and possibly Peterson too
So Broner should go up to 147 and fight a faded titlist instead of moving to 140 and facing tougher competition? I understand the reasoning, but I'm just not interested in Broner/Malignaggi cuz I don't think he poses any real threat. Plus, there are much more entertaining match-ups that can be made. This match-up would be great for Team Broner, but not for the fans. Paulie hasn't faced someone with this much potential/hype since Khan, and if Cano can come close to winning, I don't see how Broner is gonna lose.

He wants Rios to move up to 147. Or fight Guerrero after he beats Floyd!

I like the Paulie fight though!

Paulie is there for easy pickings for any of the top fighters.... it's almost a race to face Paulie, Mosley was about to come out of retirement just to fight him because why not?

I don't get this move. Is he there to stay or is he going to play hopscotch between 35, 40 and 47?

And if he's as good as people think he is, he will have to cross paths with Floyd at some point.
Exactly. I'm thinking if Broner moves to 147 he's going to fight Floyd at one point or another. The only things preventing it are the networks or their friendship. But I don't believe for one second that in a couple of years Broner will be content staying in Floyd's shadow. He'll get some impressive wins and everyone will be screaming for them to fight each other. Unless Paulie KO's him!

                      Hope not.

Talks about Burns at LW. Burns becomes freed up. Silence.

Calls just about everybody at JWW (some big punchers among them) "easy work" and such and now we start hearing about approval for him to fight feather fisted Malignaggi?

Makes me wonder if Team Broner is concealing a questionable chin...

Hope it's BS or some kind of Machiavellian misdirection.
