True, but what's the worst that can happen? Broner loses a decision at two weight classes above and has to move back down. It might mess up the whole 'unbeaten' schtick but it's not the end of the world.

than why dont these 140 guys move up one division and take this title? If they feel they are to small, not ready, or whatever fine but Broner is ready so whats the problem.

I said before soon the 140 class will move up and Broner will be a champion there so whats problem? Msidana, alexander, sechenko, lopez, and others already at 147. Khan considering move. Soon lucas, garcia, and rios will make move cause the money will be ar 147 again

So Broner should go up to 147 and fight a faded titlist instead of moving to 140 and facing tougher competition? I understand the reasoning, but I'm just not interested in Broner/Malignaggi cuz I don't think he poses any real threat. Plus, there are much more entertaining match-ups that can be made. This match-up would be great for Team Broner, but not for the fans. Paulie hasn't faced someone with this much potential/hype since Khan, and if Cano can come close to winning, I don't see how Broner is gonna lose.

Exactly. I'm thinking if Broner moves to 147 he's going to fight Floyd at one point or another. The only things preventing it are the networks or their friendship. But I don't believe for one second that in a couple of years Broner will be content staying in Floyd's shadow. He'll get some impressive wins and everyone will be screaming for them to fight each other. Unless Paulie KO's him!
