Please Broner, no! He has unfinished business at 135 and 140 is absolutely stacked. WW is crap and thats how we end up with fights like Floyd-RG, Paulie is also one of the weakest champions in the sport.

      Alexander (IBF), Van Heerden (IBO)?

        ...

Broner will stay at 147 after he humiliates Paulie. Reason is with a title Broner will feel as if he can call the shots and he will fight guys like Maidana until some has been 140lb fighter(s) ie. Khan & Peterson(after Lucas TKOs him) move up for a last chance at some $. Its a smart management move but a clear duck of the heaviest division. I dont blame Broner necessarily because GBP is attempting to make him their next cash cow and AL Haymen is his manager.

If Broner ever fights Devon Alexander Id give him props but Id bet a paycheck he wont. He will fight bums like Maidana and Soto Karass.

Not familiar with Van Heerden but I do think he has trouble with Alexander I don't think Alexander is that good but good enough to give Broner some trouble

It's possible that he drops back down after fighting Paulie, but still, this match-up has little value. Does anyone think Paulie is coming out with a victory?

it's like guerrero skipping 140 to fight at 147 except his intent was clear and that was to get a fight with floyd. what's the point of broner skipping 140? not to mention that there are a couple of good fights that i'd like to see him take on at 135.

What a B!tch move..... Just like gayweather avoid the best division when it's hot & loaded then go after the weakest guy in another weight class. Typical
