If Boner jumps two divisions he wouldn't have the size advantage and i don't think he would have significant power either. He would take the belt from Paulie but what's next? I can't see him beating Bradley, Guerrero, Alexander, Thurman, Maidana or even Chaves.

Broner would pick him apart.
The possibility of Broner winning by TKO is there, but the fight probably gets stopped with Malignaggi standing, like the Hatton and Khan fights. Malignaggi getting knocked out cold by Broner will not happen. I would actually lean more towards a Broner Dec. If Broner stays stationary and tries to imitate Floyd too much, Malignaggi would hold his own and box circles around him for at least 4-5 rounds until the pressure of Broner starts getting to Paulie. It would be either a ref stoppage or corner stoppage, but Malignaggi will not get KO'ed cold.

Thurman should get a shot a Paulie before Broner though! But if Thurman wins on Saturday he becomes Timothy Bradley's Mandatory I think so he is in a great position regardless
As for Broner vs Paulie...I honestly would much rather see Broner finish cleaning out 135 then jump to 140, I think trying to move him up so quickly is WEAK and most of the people calling for him to do that are people who want to see him lose so bad that they don't care about Logic, they just want to move him up so he can fight people they think can beat him when in actuality his is a 23 year old up and coming prospect and he should not be RUSHED ALONG JUST BECAUSE people want to see him Lose
Broner need to stay at 135, fight Abril and Burns and/or Vazquez!Last edited by sicko; 03-07-2013, 02:54 PM.
