Gatti is a rare find! its hard finding a fighter willing to give all and die in the ring to please his fans! Its nothing to find a sht talking cherry picked promotional marketed fake ass fighter that has organisations protecting his career to benefit their pockets.

Gatti, rest his soul, got all those fights because the matchmakers knew he would come forward and take a beating, plus he had a large fanbase that supported him. He is the perfect opponent ( like Tito Santana in the wwf) and a great house fighter for AC. Gatti was never a danger to a HOF level fighter, but he looked great losing, so he got fights. If you put him in with an good but not great fighter, ivan robinson or mickey ward, he made great fights. He deserves to be applauded and respected for tgetting the most out of his talent.

he doesnt have to. maybe he should, but fighting canelo and beating him even after a trout win isnt that big in the scheme of things. itll add to his bank roll but imo, the guy should retire sometime soon because lets face it, nothing he does now will add to his legacy unless he goes on a b-hop like run and i dont see that happening.

We already know it but Floyd fans need to admit it too.
floyd has very few fights were he looked bad, but both times he boxed at 154 he did just that. he cant carry the weight and is significantly slower. he waited several years before going back to the weight a second time, perhaps he thought he could adapt better after a few more years at WW, clearly thats not the case.
not going there again would be a smart move regardless of who is in the opposite corner. ppl talk as if the only reason he wouldnt fight at 154 again is that canelo is too good, but we already know floyd isnt nearly as good at the weight. common sense tells you the first thing a fighter thinks about is his own ability to perform.
of course the anti floyd trolls will always say it comes down to fear of someone else. take a break=fear, want better PED tests=fear, cant carry the weight=fear. no matter who he fights hes duckign someone else.
remember how guerrero was a terrible fight until he mentioned alexander, then all of a sudden the ghost was a beast who would have destroyed floyd and he knew it. once he goes back to guerrero, guerrero goes back to being an easy fight. i swear to god the day he retires for good ppl will say hes doing it to duck someone, doesnt matter if hes in his 40's.

what fans want vs what makes business sense....until you are able to make this distinction and not blame the fighters/promoters for it you will never be happy as a boxing fan and will always hate certain fighters and promoters.
The fight wit canelo can happen but all parties must be satisfied with how money they are going to get. If one party is unhappy then the fight will not happen, that's just how the business is. Hate to use a corny cliche but "dont hate the player hate the game"
