alvarez and his people are just throwing out martinez's name to make some noise imo. no way they pick up the phone if sampson or dibella actually call. they have cotto and angulo as other options, easier opponents as well as easier fights (negotiations) to make/have. as babybush said though, they really are overlooking trout.

Martinez at this age, as dependent as he is on his legs; athleticism, I like Canelo's chances in the future, but if Martinez is still anywhere as good as he displayed against Chavez, then he should definitely beat Canelo, it'll be tough but I got Sergio.
