    Not in boxing.

I wrestled for 15 years though with probably 1000 matches.
Also done some bjj matches. Will probably do some mma.

Boxing is hard to find matches in my country. Will likely never do one. Too old.

Used to box but fell out of the loop for a couple years cause of erratic uni lifestyle, and not having money to pay gym fees.

As soon as i leave later this year and i get a job im going straight back in... cant wait

It would've been good to see who voted how. I'm curious. There seem to be few guys that haven't had some kind of actual boxing experience. That in itself is interesting. As for me, I used to train, spar, etc. I never had an amateur fight, although I certainly considered doing so; but although I've been a boxing fan all my life, I started training too late in life. I did it more as a hobby.

Boxed for quite a while, from growing up until now. But got involved in not so great things outside the gym and lost focus when the beginning of my career was going to start. Lost the passion for the gym but furiously looking to get back and start something.

I have always believed there is no such thing as starting to late, as long as the passion and drive is there. It has been my experience and also view that a extensive amateur career can do great and bad things because of the constant fights of 100+ you already become subject to having a sore(soon to be fragile) chin/head. Some place like Mexico, Philippines you have a light or no amateur career and learn from your pro fights. Saying that, their is no such thing as age, if you have passion, dedication, and drive.

I imagine you're thinking of me, since I'm the only one so far that's mentioned starting late. I was 35 years old. No lofty aspirations, bro. lol

no i dont want to hurt myself, my elbow joint and shoulders and hips and ass be sore and i dont like it. id rather just work one part of the body a day and be sore that one area than my whole damn body

oh and blows to the head are not worth it, or cracked ribs etc.. boxing is dangerous f that.
