I think that if @147 Pernell could not beat Tito, Mayweather cannot either. Pernell Whitaker is on a different level than PBF. PBF has not proven that he can beat an elite fighter. Mayweather has also not proved himself to be an elite fighter. You must beat the best to be considered amongst them. I think that I have not seen enough great skill in PBF to say that he can beat Tito, DLH, Pernell, Chavez, Sugar Ray leonard etc. Sorry but he has to prove it to me by fighting more than just second class fighter's.

You probably need to watch those two fight again because that was only Whitaker in name.

Pernell fought that fight like a puncher not the slickster that we all remember.

In 1995 Pernell was p4p the best fighter in the sport and Tito was #5 or 6...King opted not to fight Sweat Pea then...why?

ok if the guys floyd has fought and beat so far are not elite,
then who in his weight division is an elite fighter, and would

one out of 4. tito is a great fighter but when he is in there againts a boxer he gets exposed as a boxer who cant handel winning with out a ko. he has lost 2 of 6 that go 12 rounds and one of those victorys was a gift
