I recalled George Groves was supposed to be fighting this weekend but seems like a late replacement?

An Argentinian named Dario German Balmaceda with a 11-6-2 record

I know its seems like a last minute replacement but surely they could of put him in with somebody a bit better than this Argie?

The guy has multiple K.O losses to damn middleweights with losing records. Groves should walk through this guy in a single round, hes not in the slightest bit durable. Not seen him fight, no idea who he is but a quick look at his record suggests hes absolutely terrible.

Story of Groves career 1 step forward, 3 steps backwards.

Maybe I expect too much but it would be nice to see him against somebody who could perhaps give him a few rounds.

I wasn't really that keen on Ndiaye but this fight is a joke.

Hes had a full training camp I don't see why he couldn't fight at least a mid Euro level guy. Even if its someone who carries no threat somebody that will at least give him a few rounds & make a go of it. I'd be sheer p1ssed if I bought tickets for this and that guy was the replacement!

George grove has terminate his contract with his promoter (Frank warren) so his fight with Ndiaye has been cancelled because warren didn't fulfill a part of his contractual obligation with Groves, Groves has now sign a promotional contract deal with Eddie Hearns (Matchroom) who have put him in a fight for tomorrow straight away and would also be on the Froch-Kessler undercard in May.
