Maidana will show why he is still the fighter to watch. I favor Chino in an all out war of attrition. No one questions Lopez's heart, but his chin been tenderized by Canelo, and he has less power than Maidana.

very interesting fight. lopez is a solid all around fighter and maidana showed real improvement as of late. before i would have said lopez outboxes him and wins on points but now im not so sure. good fight.

It is a long time to wait for us Chino junkies, but I like that Maidana will be headlining his own event on a major network alongside Lopez. That means his fight won't be downplayed like it was on the Canelo card last time. He deserved the ko bonus for sure but they stopped the fight early (it would have been a spectacular knockout) and gave it to Canelo. Its time Maidana got his just due and he may not get that on an undercard.
