Outside of that I'd say Mikey has the range & experience & maybe the power advantage too.
like i said.....IF russell is the real deal (meaning he can do what he does against good opposition) russell would hold a few advantages over mickey.

    russell.

foot work (mickey is a little stiff in the legs) work rate, speed, combinations.

mickeys advantages. power, chin, experience. range.

but the range can mean very little against a russell. russell could take that away with just the sheer speed that he posses. mickey is that much slower.

No way Russell beats mikey, i saw some Amir Kahn flurries that rusell as using very flashy hardly effective. Mikey too strong and under rated as a boxer he's a great example of boxer puncher. I can't see him beating mikey at all.

russell/Garcia isn't going to happen because of top rank/golenboy so might as well look ahead to a fight that can happen, against juanma, juanma is the one who called him out and asked for a catchweight,i think juanma needs one more fight to be ready, but i think juanma needs to be facing champions with no power

Russell lands near or over 50% of his punches and his opponents can't hit him more than 20 times a fight yet Lopez would beat him? Garcia is strong but I'd pick Russel Jr over both of them.

I've seen russell triple up on his jab many of times. head to head theres just no debating that for me.....russell has the better looking jab.
Maybe its because he was fighting a can who wouldn’t even attack when Russel only had one hand, I hope to never see that guy in the ring again. He literally got beat the last 3 rounds with one hand.

Anyway most slick fast boxers tend to have problems with guys of Mikey Garcia’s talent, guys that are patient and have great timing, and great counter punchers usually are problems for fast fighters.

i'm sure others have mentioned this but i'll reiterate.
don't see how some can talk up russell at this stage of his game.
not worth thinking about until he fights a legit 2nd tier opponent.
mikey spanks gary jr. bigtime. hands down.
