This fight is a toss up, as far as I'm concerned, but I've thrown out the offer to bet that Donaire does not KO Rigo several times. So far, no takers. It's truly fatiguing to read over and over (usually by the same posters) that Nonito will KO Guillermo. Most people seemed to think Rios would destroy a (then) unknown Cuban in Abril. We all know how that turned out....

Isn't "the hook84" the guy that said hes only seen rigo fight once ? I just don't know how you can even be expected to be taken seriously after saying something like that. I mean don't get me wrong it's possible that Donaire does exactly what "the hook" is saying he will do but that will be more about [B]Donaires ability [/B than it would be about "thehooks" ability to analyze 2 fighters strengths and weaknesses and pick a winner.

He's biased. I guess we all are, to some degree, but there's a level of reason that has to prevail. I consider Rigo one of the best fighters ever to come out of Cuba. That in itself is saying a lot. But I'm quite aware that Olympic boxing and pro boxing are cousins, not twin brothers.

Not to make excuses, but if Guillermo loses, it'll be more out of professional inexperience than anything else. As highly as I think of Donaire, I have little doubt that Rigondeaux is the greater natural talent. The guy's 32, with eleven pro fights, yet he's considered a real threat to an acknowledged P4P fighter. What's that say?

I've always have said Rigo is a very good fighter and #2 @ 122 behind Nonito. If Rigo fights Mares, I think Rigo would win. Nonito is a fighter that just comes once very 100 years and will prove to be too much in the ring. It doesn't matter how good someone is, if someone is just a little better than thats all it takes.

Every 100 years? lol A guy like him comes along every few years. A guy like "Sugar" Ray Robinson comes along maybe once every century. Nonito is very good, but he's not particularly special. Here's a just few names that came along just since the seventies: Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, Roy Jones Jr., Julio Cesar Chavez. All these men were much, much better than Donaire. To mention Nonito among them would be an insult.

It took me 2 minutes of watching him to see that the dude is special. So its Nonito. Cant wait!!!

Nonito Donaire has KO'ed guys by making them almost fall out of the ring(Darchinyan), breaking their faces with blood gushing out(Sidorenko), giving them a seizure(Montiel) and he sent two champions into retirement(Nishioka and Arce) to name a few. I could highlight his other KOs but I wont. His left hook is just so powerful that even if he doesn't connect fully on Rigo it will do damage. I can't wait for Donaire to move up to 126, now that Dib has lost I want Nonito to fight Chris John next.
