Keep in Mind Marquez has "looked like he was going to be Ko'd" in more than just the Manny fights.

Against Juan diaz and Mike Katsidis Marquez was in trouble. He has been in that situation before. He came back to knock out both of those guys AND Manny who all had him in trouble. Not to say Manny is the same as those two but for us who have watched Marquez, seeing him in trouble is not knew territory. And still he has yet to be knocked out by anyone.

If Juan wants to continue Manny is his best payday and his best competition. As for Manny Floyd is still his best payday but Juan is second!
I'm tired of ALL of them but I never argue about an aging fighter picking up the pennies (in this case millions) as long as they can get into great shape and be competitive!!! I they can't compete then they need to stop!! If Manny gets stopped its time to stop because his body has had enough. If Juan gets stopped or looses throughout the fight he needs to end it also!
When your near or above 35 yrs and your under 160lbs your at the end. Theirs individuals that can cheat the odds but traditionally in boxing the guys that come up through the weight classes and have 65+ bouts are done by 32yrs old. When you have an amatuer career of + 75 bouts and another 60 to 70 as a pro you have inherited alot of abuse. Its not just the punches that tear you down its also going in and out of conditioning that taxes the body! Ray
