    Rios-Alvarado is pointless.

Does any1 honestly see anything being different the second time around?

Not sure why this fight is happening, good fight the first time but i didnt see enough from alvarado to want to see a rematch.

Really shows how weak top rank is at 140.

Ofcourse ill watch but im not too interested in this fight, any1 feel the same way??

I'm not too excited about it either, but its either that or Rios is forced to move up to 147, which probably isn't a very good idea right now. I don't know what other top 140 lbs fighters are at Top Rank, but the ones I want to see Rios against are all at Golden Boy. Rios appears to be in a bad position from what I can tell.

Before the first fight it was 50-50 round these parts as far as who would win...... Then during the fight Alvarado was doing very well so its not set in stone Rios wins this

On top of that we the fans have the action we're going get from the styles these two have plus an interim strap on the line (which will be upgraded down the line)

Didn't want the rematch this quick but given the alternatives f#ck it lets do it

HBO made Rios an offer he couldn't refuse. They made it worth his while. Thats what his trainer said!

It was a great fight that was very competitive. A rematch is awesome.

I think I had Alvarado up too before the ko. But the real reason it's happening is because top rank has NO FIGHTERS. Literally no one. Rios Alvarado 3 this fall

Nah, a lot were complaining that it was stopped prematurely.

arum will likely try to make rios vs. marquez or rios vs. pac before the year is out. im not really thrilled about either fight, but i can guess that most will be. i dont think highly of rios in a boxing ring. not enough that he deserves a shot at either of those guys anyways, but thats what i suspect will happen.
