People on this site have been saying broner should fight Beltran. Since all the top 135 are already fighting Beltran makes sense and he's Mexican. Guerrero is also Mexican. But people still think Floyd needs cAnelo to get 1 mill buys lol

Well for one thing that has not happened yet. I don't think it sells one million without Canelo's help. If it does then it does. So what? I don't hate Mayweather, I just don't think he can sell a million pay for views with Guerrero.

It probably will because he's been off for so long but there is no doubt it's going to suffer big time from Canelo not fighting.

PPV's are only half the story, the real money are the people who come to Vegas and gamble, get rooms, and spend while they are there. Floyd has a loyal following so that money will be there, but Canelo brings in big time money people himself from Mexico who travel and take extended vacations to be there. It's a boxing holiday. I go to every Floyd fight weekend but I am pretty disappointed that they moved the undercard fight, there's no doubt money will be lost.

When I thought about it last night, I think it probably was the best decision to move the fight even though I hated the idea. Floyd should not have signed any agreement to fight him Canelo in September because it would overshadow the Guerrero fight.

It was not wrong of Canelo to ask for a contract but knowing how boxing fans think, there was just going to be too much su****ion about the scoring of the fight they had some pre-arranged deal beforehand. That and it made no sense for one not to be offered to Trout as well.

I get the politics but this brings the PPV down a little. Adding Alexander-Brook would be interesting because then maybe you can get and keep the interest of some UK fans (who might also like Floyd) and maybe a little more of the Midwest contingent to come out for Devon.

EDIT: I just saw some of the fights for 4-20 were postponed, now GBP has some good fights to work with. All may not be lost!
